Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University Discount (Thursday- Sunday)

Kurt Vonnegut Jr. As a Visual Artist (Thursday - Saturday)
Kurt Vonnegut’s artwork, like his writing, invites us to reflect on the human condition with humor and depth. His visual art, characterized by its simple yet poignant line drawings, often critiques societal norms and encourages empathy. Open to all alumni during Alumni Weekend, this exhibition serves as a conversation starter on how art can express empathy, bridge divides and help heal societal trauma. No registration required.

Drexel Class of 1975 Welcome Dinner
Kick off your reunion weekend at this intimate, seated dinner, surrounded by the artwork of the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery which houses 19th Century European artwork, as well as portraits by A.J. Drexel’s father, Francis Martin Drexel.
Arfaa Lecture – The Architecture of Urbanity: Designing for Nature, Culture & Joy
Vishaan Chakrabarti is the founder and creative director of Practice for Architecture and Urbanism, where he leads a global portfolio of cultural, institutional and public projects. In New York, Chakrabarti collaborated in efforts to save the High Line, rebuild the East River waterfront, expand Columbia University’s campus and reincorporate the street grid at the World Trade Center site.
DUBAC Golden Dragons and Alumni Meet & Greet
Catch up with friends and get acquainted with fellow alumni during this get together. Reminisce about your Dragon days at this initial event to celebrate the history and legacy of our time at Drexel! Appetizers, sodas/iced tea and the first drink are on us!
Hahnemann and MCP Classes of 1975 Barnes Foundation Tour
Members of the Hahnemann and MCP Classes of 1975 will be treated to a private, docent-led tour of the Barnes Foundation, which promotes the appreciation of art and horticulture and is home to one of the world's greatest collections of impressionist, post-impressionist and early modern paintings.
Golden Dragon Society Luncheon
Catch up with friends old and new and reminisce about your Dragon days at this luncheon for all members of the Class of 1975 and prior. The Class of 1975 will be inducted into the Golden Dragon Society, the Golden Dragon Award will be presented to Floss Barber ’75 and a Class of 1975 group photo will be taken. Paul Jensen, PhD, Executive Vice President and Nina Henderson Provost of Drexel University, will present on Drexel’s academic transformation, an exciting plan to reshape the University’s curriculum, academic calendar and institutional structure.

Have some happy hour fun during Alumni Weekend with the LGBTQIA+ Alumni Network. Mix and mingle, network and celebrate your shared Drexel connection with members of the Drexel LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Appetizers and soft drinks provided, and cash bar available.
DUBAC Alumni-Student Gathering & “Paris Noir” Popcorn & Movie Night
Kick things off with a special gathering for current students and Golden Dragons. A limited supply of “A Legacy to Share” volumes 1 and 2 will be available for students, signed by the authors in attendance.
Then, starting at 6:30 p.m., learn about the City of Lights and the contributions made by African American soldiers, writers, artists, musicians and entertainers as they toured or lived in Paris. Following the one-hour film “Paris Noir,” those who were on the DUBAC guided tour of Paris last fall will share their experience and answer questions. Pizza, popcorn and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Drexel Alumni Night at the Phillies
We’ve got your tailgate needs covered! At this private BBQ, enjoy ballpark snacks including popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream, beer, soft drinks and more in the Drexel party tent, just steps away from the stadium. Then, head inside to cheer for the Phillies as they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. Game tickets must be purchased separately and are required for entry into the party tent. Upon registration, a link to purchase tickets in the Drexel Alumni sections of the ballpark will be provided.

Commemorate 175 years of groundbreaking achievements and the legacy of Woman’s Medical College and Medical College of Pennsylvania! This celebration honors the powerful contributions women have made to the medical field and their pioneering spirits which have paved the way for future generations of healthcare professionals.
The Peter Eizen ’00 Memorial Fund and Annual AEPi/Drexel Hillel Shabbat Dinner
Created to honor Peter Eizen’s commitment to Jewish life and his passion for the AEPi fraternity, this Shabbat dinner is a joint Drexel Hillel/AEPi event open to all students, Drexel alumni and friends/family of Peter. Through this Drexel Hillel/AEPi collaboration, we hope to bring Peter’s spirit to life by nourishing and empowering AEPi and Jewish students at Drexel. Dinner is kosher and will include meat and vegetarian options. In lieu of a registration fee, guests can make a donation in support of Drexel Hillel, or to the Peter Eizen '00 Memorial Fund at Drexel University.

Enjoy a continental breakfast, a display from College of Medicine Archives and a panel discussion with current medical students and Charles B. Cairns, MD, Walter H. and Leonore Annenberg Dean of the College of Medicine. Then, take an interactive tour of the Health Sciences Building's state-of-the-art facilities including the simulation and anatomy labs.
Business and Engineering Centennial Celebration
Join fellow alumni and current and former faculty members to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Business and Engineering program (formerly known as Commerce & Engineering) at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business! Reconnect with classmates, mentors and friends as we recognize the inaugural recipients of the department’s Early Career and Alumni Career Achievement awards, reflect on the past 100 years and look ahead at the program’s future. Then, come together over a celebratory lunch with beer, wine and soft drinks.

Urban Futures Symposium: Keynote and Panel Discussion
Did you know that by 2050, nearly 90% of the US population is projected to live in urban areas? The human responsibilities in the future of urbanism are more important now than ever before.
Keynote speaker Tracy Hadden Loh, a Fellow with the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Center for Transformative Placemaking at Brookings Metro, has dedicated her career to understanding how infrastructures in neighborhoods and cities can impact social, economic and civic outcomes. Her work analyzes small scale community organizing through large scale government services and aims to identify when and how these efforts can make impactful change. Her interests lie specifically in commercial real estate, infrastructure, racial justice and governance.
Then, a panel of Drexel faculty experts will discuss The Role of Cities and Urban Universities in an Ever-Changing World, diving into the issues surrounding the sustainability and livability of modern urban environments through the lens of citizenship, health and infrastructure. Panelists include Richard Dilworth, PhD, Department of Politics; Alina Schnake Mahl, ScD, MPH, Department of Health Management and Policy; and Andrew Zitcer, PhD, Urban Strategies.

A major milestone in the future of The Triangle will be announced at this reception for alumni, current staff and Triangle supporters. Celebrate the legacy of The Triangle and get the latest updates from key alumni and staff. DBAN Presents Welcome Back to Campus Tour: Biomed Edition
Join the Drexel Biomed Alumni Network for a condensed tour of Drexel University's campus to see how much it has changed since the beginning of the millennium! The tour will focus on some of the newer buildings and facilities, including those used heavily by the School of Biomedical Engineering, including the BME design space at 3101 Market Street, the Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building, the Bossone Research and Enterprise Building and Gerri C. LeBow Hall. It's the perfect way to see the whole campus right before heading to Drexel After Dark!

Celebrate the close of Alumni Weekend with friends from Drexel University, College of Medicine and its legacy schools at Drexel After Dark! This year, guests will get exclusive access to the world class Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center to dine, drink and dance the night away.
Enjoy food stations, signature cocktails, fun photo ops and more, as we take over the state-of-the-art Specter Center which is housed in the historic Pennsylvania State Armory Building on Drexel’s University City campus.
The 76,000 sq. foot facility is home to the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame, as well as a high-performance training center for Team USA athletes and the U.S. Squash National Headquarters.
AEPi 30th Anniversary Celebration
Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism 2025 Charrette
From May 2 to 4, the Department of Architecture, Design & Urbanism at the Drexel’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design will host a weekend-long student design challenge. This Charrette brings together approximately 100 students from a variety of disciplines. We are partnering with Vishaan Chakrabarti of PAU architects to imagine the future of Philadelphia’s Delaware waterfront in the wake of the capping of Interstate 95.
Alumni and their guests are encouraged to stop by Sunday from 12 to 2 p.m. to view final projects. No registration required. Any alumni interested in being involved in the Charrette can reach out to Tim Nawrocki tn493@drexel.edu.
